The "maakt", right on the Neuer Markt, is centrally located in Stralsund's old town near the impressive St. Mary's Church - a masterpiece of late Gothic architecture in Central Europe and one of the many sights of the Hanseatic city. The old town with its many architectural monuments and particularly valuable testimonies of brick Gothic has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2002.

As a resort and important tourist center in the southern Baltic Sea region, Stralsund is also known for the German Maritime Museum in the former Katharinenkoster with the Ozeaneum on the Stralsund harbor island, the Stralsund Museum and for events such as the annual Wallenstein Days, the Stralsund Port Days, the traditional Sundschwimmen or the Rügenbrücken run.

The kitchenette in all rooms offers additional comfort and is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, 2-ring ceramic hob, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, cutlery and crockery. The bathroom includes a toilet, a walk-in shower, cosmetic mirror and a hair dryer. The elevator runs from the underground car park to the 3rd floor.

The spacious lobby with a cozy lounge area and fireplace invites you to linger. Impressions from Stralsund and the surrounding area are shown throughout the house.
