Hotel description

The Hotel "Markus Sittikus" is a small, fine, family-run 4-star hotel in the heart of Salzburg. Only 2 minutes from Mirabell Palace, we await you in a quiet location with individually furnished rooms, free WiFi, satellite TV and a bathroom.

There is no barrier-free access to the hotel and reception. These can only be reached via steps.

We have a lift to all rooms from the reception floor.

We do not have accessible rooms.

Reception times & arrival

At the reception we are there for you personally between 8.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m.

An arrival after 6 p.m. is of course also possible. In this case I would like to ask you for brief information so that we can prepare everything for you.

Parking & e-charging stations

You can park your car safely and under cover in the nearby WiFi parking garage, Julius-Raab-Platz 2, 5020 Salzburg (200m or 2 minutes on foot), to the Hotel Markus Sittikus special price of € 16.00 per 24 hours.

On weekends and public holidays, the garage is "occupied" and marked with a red traffic light. Simply ring the ticket column and say that you are coming from Hotel Markus Sittikus and want to park.

Park around the hotel in the short-term parking zone, subject to charges from 09:00 to 19:00. Parking is free on weekends.

On Saturdays, however, parking meters are compulsory from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The maximum parking time is 3 hours.

At Markus Sittikus, every morning begins with our delicious breakfast. You can expect regional organic delicacies, homemade spreads, crisp rolls and egg dishes from happy chickens. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free selection is a matter of course for us.

The Salzburg Congress Center and numerous sights are less than a 2-minute walk from the Markus Sittikus. It is a 2-minute walk to Mirabell Palace and gardens, only 700 m to the historic old town center and the Salzburg main train station is 500 m very close to the hotel.

You can reach Salzburg Airport by public bus in 25 minutes - line 2, from the Kongresshaus stadium, 2 minutes' walk from the hotel.

Our hosts will be happy to take care of your personal concerns. Table reservations, excursions, sightseeing tours, with hotel pick-up or a fine birthday cake are quickly organized.
