Cap d'Agde ist the resort part of Agde, a pleasant Languedoc town a little distance to the north. It is east of Beziers and south west of Montpellier. The resort has been almost entirelely built since the last 1960's at the foot of an ancient volcano and based around a large marine lined with nice apartment blocks, and has easy access to large sandy beaches.

The only hotel on the best beachfront in Cap d'Agde is the Capao Beach Hotel in a very cosy and peaceful setting. 2 outside pools, one of them is heated.
